As adults, we hold many beliefs and thoughts that interfere with our natural instincts and keep us from being content with our lives. These mechanisms have been with us for a long time - as children, we have learned how to cope and react to our environment, to protect ourselves, and to survive in the jungle of the emotional world.
Feelings do not have an expiration date!
Years later, unresolved feelings resurface, but we still hold on to our familiar behaviors and strategies, which drains the energy out of our daily actions. We feel held back from embracing life’s opportunities and evolving into the person we really are.
Adult coaching sessions can help to break these inner barriers and transform them into a healthier thinking about ourselves and others. Being introduced to the power of transformed thoughts and feelings can be described as an emotional “cleansing” and liberating process. It is the start of a new personal relationship with yourself.
